A home and a hot bed for dance in Wales.
As well as being the home of National Dance Company Wales, the Dance House is a world-class production facility and performance and rehearsal space for local artists, community groups and touring UK companies.
We have two stunning dance-orientated spaces, both of which are available to hire throughout the year at a competitive rate, as well as a lounge area, office space and an intimate roof terrace.

There is three ways in which you can access space at the Dance House:
Partnerships
We are always open to conversations at the early funding stages of projects to discuss the possibility of acting as a partner organisation on your project and offering in-kind use of the studios.
Standby Studios
On the first Monday of each month, we will release a list of dates on which studio space is available the following month.
These dates will be free to book through our website for Welsh and Wales based independent dance artists and companies and will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. Bookings will be accepted subject to suitability criteria, which is detailed on the booking page.
Studio Hire
If you know in advance that you will need a studio on specific dates, you can request to hire studios through the website.
Demand for space is high, so for rehearsal and other non-performance hires, we recommend that you contact us a minimum of six weeks in advance of the first date of activity, and for performance hires we recommend that you contact us a minimum of ten weeks in advance of the first date of activity.
We offer several hire rates dependent on your situation, from a local artist rate which is designed to just cover the cost of opening the space, to our standard commercial hire rate. Please get in touch via the website to enquire about availability and rates.
