The Blue Room is our main production studio.
The Blue Room is a versatile space that can be used end on, or have the 100-seat seating bank retracted for a larger rehearsal space, or to put additional seating different audience configurations.

Its counterweight flying system and 100 tiered retractable seats make this an incredibly versatile space for production and performance.
The Blue Room has also been hired by broadcasters such as BBC Wales and S4C for filming purposes.
The Dance House is fully accessible with a lift for those unable to use the stairs and a seating allocation for wheelchair users for performances.

Please note: due to our professional dance flooring we only allow socks, bare feet and non marking soles to be worn in the studio.
If you intend to rehearse in high heels, tap shoes, black or white soled shoes or otherwise, please chat to us first so that we may advise.
About Us:
The Dance House is based in beautiful Cardiff Bay and consists of a performance space, a ballet studio and a number of office spaces.
We are a resident organisation at the Wales Millennium Centre.
Finding Us:
The entrance to the Dance House is located around the back of Wales Millennium Centre, opposite the Welsh Government offices (Tŷ Hywel). It is approximately 2-3 minutes’ walk from the front of the Centre.
You can get to us from car, train, bike or bus. Bus services stop outside the Millennium Centre and there are bicycle racks right by the doors to the Dance House. If you are driving, Cardiff Bay has several car parking facilities. Q-Park Cardiff Bay is opposite Wales Millennium Centre on Pierhead Street and is open 24 hours a day, use CF10 4PH to navigate to the correct address.
